今日の天気は晴れです。朝、公園にエクササイズのためにでかけました。熱くも寒くもない、良い運動日和でした。
今日は、オンラインで講演会に参加しました。家にいながら良い話に耳を傾けることができます。わたしは、インターネットが普及して多くの益を享受できていることが嬉しいです。
私はパソコンは得意ですが、インターネットで誰かと会議を行うことは少し苦手です。それで、これから新しい会議の仕方に順応していく必要を感じます。
得意 苦手
1) I’m (not) good at _____→「◯◯が得意／苦手」
得意であることを表す場合はシンプルに「I’m good at _____」を使い、苦手な場合は否定形の「I’m not good at _____」を使います。この表現は基本的に学校の教科、スポーツ、ビジネスなどある分野の専門知識・技術・技能に関して「得意」や「苦手」を表すときに使われます。
「〜をするのが得意／苦手」を表す場合は、「（not) good at」の後に「動詞 + ing」がフォローします。
「Good」の代わりに「Great」が使われることも一般的です。
「〜が本当に苦手」と言いたい場合は「not good」の代わりに「terrible」を使いましょう。
〜 得意 〜
・I’m good at basketball.（私はバスケが得意です）
・He’s great at math.（彼は数学が得意です）
・She’s good at solving problems.（彼女は問題を解決するのが得意です）〜 苦手 〜
・I’m not good at English.（私は英語が苦手です）
・He’s terrible at cooking.（彼は料理が苦手です）
・She’s not good at talking to strangers.（彼女は他人と話すのが苦手です）2) I’m (not) good with _____→「◯◯の扱いが得意／苦手」
物や人を扱うのが得意／苦手であると表現する場合は「(not) good with _____」を使いましょう。例えば、会計士は「数字の扱いが得意」なので「Accountants are good with numbers」と表します。上記の表現「(not) good at」に比べ「(not) good with」は、ある特定の（専門）分野に限定せず、もう少し幅広い意味で使われます。
人と接するのが「得意」「苦手」と表現するときによく使われる表現です。
寒い気候や暑い気候が「苦手」と表現する場合にもよく使われます。
上記同様「good」の代わりに「great」、「not good」の代わりに「terrible」が使えます。

・He’s great with directions.（彼は方向感覚がいいです）
・She’s good with children.（彼女は子供の扱いが上手です）〜 苦手 〜
