I was encouraged to learn things while displaying humility.

Today, I heard a lecture on the topic of "education" given by a colleague. I learned the following points from this lecture: (1)Education will protect us. (2)The ability to write one's thoughts is important, but many are unaware of its importance. (3) It is a sign of arrogance to think that we are special because we are more educated than others. Through this lecture, I was encouraged to learn things while displaying humility.

今日は、同僚が行う「教育」というテーマでの講演を聞きました。この講演から以下の点を知りました。教育が、我々を保護するものとなること。自分の考えを文章にする能力は重要だが多くの人がその重要性を認識できていないこと。人よりも付加的に教育を受けたからと行って、自分が特別な存在であると考えるのは傲慢さの表れであるということです。この講演を通して、謙虚さを示しつつ物事を学んでゆきたいと励まされました。
